Aaah Rae Lyn..Boy did we have great times at your mom and dads cabin out on Maple Lake!!! Sitting on the boat drinking screwdrivers!! (LOL) I will forever cherish the fun times we had together. Friend I miss you and think of you all the time.Susan Fayette (McWilliams)
Rae Lyn was such a good friend. We would stay up all night playing games then fall asleep on the recliners and sleep til late. Lots of boating and fun at the lakes in the summer. I miss you Rae Lyn.Rae Ann Hanson
I have clicked on this page so many times and have found it difficult write something. Rae Lyn was one of my best friends, since kindergarten at West. I'm sure it's difficult to figure out how the two of us became friends, ha ha! I can't count the times Mr. Sholes at Valley called me Rae Lyn Hanson or her Rae Ann Waith. I spent many an hour at her house after school. We had a lot fun after high school, maybe too much. I enjoyed all the years we had, especially the years we worked at the Center and Empire Theatres together. I'm pretty sure managers hated having us work together. As an adult I spent much time with Rae Lyn's girls, her youngest was named after me. I still keep in touch with them and enjoy being Auntie Annie. It was a sad day when I had this little lost voice (of my namesake) on the other end of the phone telling me that my oldest friend had been killed in a car accident. Rae Lyn had a big heart and even though we didn't always connect during the year she will be truly missed, especially my X-mas card and newsy letter each year. Hey Shelly you forgot me last year! Okay I know I didn't send any either but this year for sure! We still need to have lunch or coffee!
