Moved to Dallas the year after graduation and fell in love with the big city hustle and bustle. Have worked very hard during the past twenty years and have been blessed in so many ways. My wife and I love to travel with (and without) the kids and have seen a lot of the world together over the last 9 years.
I have really enjoyed seeing fellow classmates and buddies "grow up" and meeting their families over the last 20 years.
School was such an awesome time to me. Coming from the base and meeting so many great "towners" going into 9th grade. Hanging out at all the hot spots throughout highschool. The silly parties and memorable sporting events. It seems hard to believe that was twenty years ago.
I remember Central old Gymnasium for basketball games, opening the new stadium, going to State, impromtu parties, Mr. Landry making me stand in the corner for falling asleep in class and Joe Rubin and Tracey Carpenter trying not to laugh.
The road trips for sports. Dating, dances, Vince Robinson and I cracking up with Darin Barker. Coach Sully doing a somersault when we beat Fargo South to make playoffs.
Getting drunk, going to Red Pepper, making prank phone calls at Jimmers shop, going to someone's lakehouse for the weekend. Hanging out at Klug's, playing poker with the red river gang, working at Shea's Nursery.....
It was such a great time that it is hard to recapture all the nostalgia in a few paragraphs. I guess we will just have to recreate the drunkfest in August.... I know nobody will find that to shocking or difficult.
