Juanita Morgan Peterka

Married to Joe in June of 1971. We have three grown children, all living in Grand Forks. We have two grandchildren age 7 and 4 and actually one is due any moment of this writing. I have worked with two different insurance agencies for a total of 17 years and now with the City of Grand Forks for 20. My husband retired from the GF Police Dept. almost five years and I am planning on retiring in January 2010. We enjoy UND Sports, especially Hockey. We love traveling and saw alot of beauty in the United States. Planning on traveling abroad in the near future. Now that we are empty nesters (sort of) we just enjoy the quiet, until the grandkids come over and of course, when Vikings are playing, theres always excitement at our house.

I hated school, but enjoyed band at St. James. I enjoyed working in the school library at St. James the three years I went to school there. I cherish the friendships that I made at school - just wished that I could have maintained those friendships through my adult years. Way too busy with kids and work.

When St. James closed and our class had to split between Central and St. James, that was tough for me. Spent most of my senior year in the arts and crafts room, just hanging out.
