Comments:

When I first left RHS I put together my own band called "Horizon", playing dates in Grand Forks and surrounding areas, including Minnesota. I attended UND and received my BS in Elementary Education in 1987 and my Masters in Special Education including certifications of Early Childhood and Visually Impaired, all while holding down 5 total jobs. I got married to a Southern gentleman named Leon on 8-9-86 (I hired him as my lead guitar player before he proposed). We left GF heading south to warmer country (okay, we did move south, but only to SD; it is on average 20 degrees warmer here). Upon moving here I ran into Terri Geigle and we started to workout together until she met her husband and moved away. Since moving here I have been teaching and, yes, did continue singing hooking up with a local band for awhile. Then children came along. Lyrica (of course, a musical name), then Kimberly. I love living in South Dakota! The camping here is great, especially the Black Hills! In my spare time I love to karoake, especially at home with my two musical girls, scrapbook (I am years behind at this point), and camping. It all sounds great, huh? Well, maybe someday I'll fill you all in.

School Story:

My all time favorite thing about RHS was definitely "Fiddler on the Roof"...I had a blast! I'll still never forgive Jeff Simmons for throwing me on the moving house and another night during the performance passing out with me on his shoulders during Frumah Sarah's crazy scene....my back sure did ache! I also miss the great times we had in Concert Choir! Those are memories I will carry forever!
