Sorry I missed the reunion, but we'll try to make the next one. Life's been good for me since graduation and we're happy. After years of searching, I finally found a girl who thought skinny guys with big ears and goofy smiles were sexy and married Diane (from Sioux City, IA) in 1991--and she’s not inflatable regardless of the stories Rerucha, Ward and Aldridge may tell. We live east of Tampa, FL and enjoy the warm weather of Florida but come back to Nebraska every year for Christmas to remind us that winter still exists. If you’re ever in the area taking your grandkids to Orlando (or if you're like us, taking your own kids), let me know and we’ll set a plate for dinner.
We have three girls, Samantha (16), Megan (14) and Madison (3 – our own special kind of surprise). We were also blessed with a son, Jacob, briefly in 2001 and found that God presents you with many lessons and challenges--and we learned to be thankful for those around us and enjoy what we have. We keep busy with the girls and make at least one or two trips to GI annually to visit parents, family and friends. Other than their annoying musical tastes and an occasional streak of weird color in their hair, our girls are somewhat normal and have managed so far to stay off the Jerry Springer, Oprah and other reality freak shows. We hope you've also been successful in that regard.
One of the ways we find to enjoy life is spending a lot of time in the kitchen, so I'm no longer the scrawny kid I was in high school. But even though I get fatter as the years go by, Diane gets better looking (seriously!) and strangely enough now gets turned on by blonde, middle-aged, portly guys with all their hair. Who could ask for more?
