Neva Jeanne Herrold

Moved to CA after graduating MSU in Dec '69 and was hired as the 1st woman auditor for The Hartford through their Career Development program (meant I had a college degree vs becoming an auditor OJT). Loved it and worked as Audit Supv for Chubb in SF and No Region Audit Manager for Calif Casualty in San Mateo. Got married, had Margret and stopped working for 15 yrs. Divorced and moved to Las Vegas for Margret's schooling (hated it there). Worked for Clark County School District Police Department (5th largest school district in the US) as a civilian. Retired in 2013 and moved to Colorado Springs last December where I'm truly enjoying the fresh air, cold tap water, gorgeous mountains and all the green.

I have wonderful memories of working on pep rally posters on the floor in the hallways and working on the Legend and Spectator staffs. My favorite teacher was Mr. Bultman who had after school philosophical gettogethers. One time I said, "If I can think about somethink, it must exist" and he gleefully said, "Decarte". Huh? And I learned about Rene Decarte.haha My dad thought he was a pervert and up to no good with his young daughter. I was so embarrassed that he thought that!
