School Story
Two of my favorite stories involve band trips. (1) We were leaving GS on a Saturday morning after a late Friday night game, headed for some event in Dallas. We had no sooner passed the GS city limit sign than many got out their tuna lunch sandwiches they were eating for breakfast. Mr. De La Rosa
got furious from the smell. "Can't you people keep your sacks closed until later, " he yelled. The eating continued.
(2) Linda Clark, deceased, had brought a jar of olives in her lunch. Sitting about 1/3 way back in the bus with all windows open due to the heat, she decided to drain the juice. The salty brine attacked everyone with the open windows the rest of the way down her side of the bus.
