I graduated with a BA in history from Brigham Young University in 2004 and with a MA in American History from Claremont Graduate University in 2008.
In 2007 and 2009 I spent time in Tanzania working as an HIV/AIDS educator and living with a local family.
In 2009 I spent several months working at the Herzl Museum in Jerusalem, Israel creating an English library database and giving tours to English speaking groups.
I am currently the community educator for Planned Parenthood Association of Utah and I absolutely love it. I spend 40 plus hours a week teaching puberty education to 5th and 6th grade girls and safe sex and healthy sexuality to teens and young adults at schools, youth detention facilities, colleges, behavioral and substance abuse treatment centers, and colleges.
