Joined the U S Air Force in 1986 after 2 semesters of College. Initially sent to the Far East for 2 years of traveling all over the Orient. Afterwards, returned to the states and was stationed at Keesler AFB, Biloxi Mississippi. While there, spent the last 4 and a half years of my enlistment in Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, Florida, Louisiana, Ohio, Texas, and several other places in between.
Returned to the Tri Cities after my enlistment, attended ETSU and Northeast State, completed EMT-Paramedic training, and continued to work on an undergraduate degree.
I returned to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1995 after a failed marriage. While there, became a Deputy Sheriff, SWAT Medic, and Field Supervisor for an EMS service.
I met my current wife while working in Mississippi; we were married in 1999 and our daughter Savannah was born. We moved to Atlanta in 2003 to be closer to home, however, returned to the Gulf Coast in May of 2005. We were living in Mississippi when Hurricane Katrina came through, and spent most of the next 2 years recovering. Also returned to Law Enforcement as a Marine Patrol Police Officer for the State of Mississippi. Monica retired from the Air Force in 2007 after 22 years of service. Afterwards, we decided to come back to Tennessee. Since returning, I accepted a position with an offshore oil/ gas drilling company out of Houston, Texas as a H S & E Officer/ Remote Duty Paramedic. Spent the first half of 2009 traveling back and forth to South Korea, and also to Durbin, South Africa and most recently Trinidad.
