Jay Kelley

Joined the Navy right out of school. Re-enlisted once, but got out in 1991. Was the youth minister in Groton, Ct. from 89-91
Worked as a Firefighter in Mulvane from 91-95. Also worked as youth minister there. Worked on an AAS in Fire Science at Butler CC, but never finished it.
Went to Sunset International Bible Institute from 95-97. Did self-supported mission work in NW Kansas from 97-07. Worked as a firefighter and substitute teacher to support myself. Got an Associates in History from Colby CC and a Bachelors in Bible from Regions University.
Been preaching for the Austin Street Church of Christ in Levelland, TX since 07. Volunteering at the Fire Dept. and teaching satellite classes for SIBI, including mission work in Greece.
Never got married - just never got around to it.
Been up and down, but life has been good.
