 Don,
The Christmas Party date is 12-17-11, I'll send out the date with the request to sign up to the website, then you or I can post it to the website when one of us figures out how and where. I have also been asking that people post the website on thier Facebook accounts so far Penny L. and myself have it posted, I recently asked Joey B. and Jay H. to post it also.

Good goal...glad to see we have 42 people and counting.
I added Wes Wertel to the list and a few other names that have emailed me once they found the website.
People seem to be finding the website: a good sign.
Xmas 2011 Party? Good idea. The biggest issue is pick a date and then people can plan to make it or at least try to make it.
2012 - 30th Re-union? Aug 11 '12 is the date that I have floated for people to plan. Any issues? The next issue is the place in Green Bay.
Although I'm learning how to use this site, I believe I can set up a survey that will show the results on the webpage.
Finally, I plan to add pictures this weekend of the other year books for our class: 1981 and 1980.
Keep me posted on BNO.

 Don,
We have 42 people signed up to the website as of now, I was hoping for 30 for the month of April.
Alot of people have written to me about the Christmas Party I think this has helped in having people sign up early, I was thinking after the Christmas Party we should have some sort of party set up for the summer of 2012, any ideas?
Wes Wertel has been reaching out to classmates via facebook I noticed he was not on the website the more I thought about it I think he left late in our senior year, I was wondering if you with the power of the pen could add him back to the website.
I will let you know before the end of April when the next BNO is (maybe you could ride with Tim Taylor, Bob said you two worked at the same place.).

Just an idea???  I remember one year we had a class reunion at the same place that Preble did and it was so much fun.  I know there are a few couples that have a spouse that graduated from Preble in 1982 and I went to Preble up until my Senior year so it was double the fun!!

I remember they rented the haul next to us and at the end of the night we all ended up over in the Preble haul (I think we ran out of beer or something like that)?

I have sent out messages to a few Preble graduates that I am still in touch with.  I will let you know if I find anything out.

I too, agree.  As you know, there were a handful of us that went to Edison before attending East.  It would be fun to have either a joint venture, or at a minmum, having it at the same time/place as Preble.

Thanks for your efforts in coordinationg the reunion, I appreciate it!

Looks like Preble is planning theirs for June 23, 2012.  Sally Surke and Arken Thayse seem to be coordinating this.  THey have a facebook page Preble High School - Class of 82 - Virtual Class Reunion

There was mention from Leslie Ireland (Preble) "It would be nice to have it the same as East..what ever year that was were it was at the SC Grand and they were on the other side was so much fun", so perhaps there will be willingness to coordinate the same dates with East.

Kathy,
We booked our reunion on June 23, 2012 ot knowing that you guys were working on yours. I thought Judy Dockery was taking yours over, but never heard from her. It looks like we are having our at Wally's Spot in the back room. If you would like to talk to anyone, it is Kim Cain Vandenavond, myself, Denise Lettman, Shelly Baacke, Mike Bouchard, and some others that are helping out. DID you guys actually book something??? We tried other places and were up against a lot of weddings, so not sure if you have an idea but so far, this looks like it is booked.

June 23 works better for folks that live in the South -- our children start school in early August and end in late May. 

Is Wally's big enough to have both groups?  I don't think I've been in there. 

I think being able to visit with the Edison and Preble friends would be great, as well.

Hope all are doing well and when possible, connect others to sign in to the '82 website.

After a series of emails (thanks Kathy), the effort to connect with the Preble '82 Reunion won't work out this time. If enough interest exists, we'll try it again in 2017...a long way a way. Sallie Jerovetz (Preble) was more than helpful..it's just that they have a fixed plan already in place for June.

Thanks for the suggestions and input as it is always helpful.

August remains the plan for the reunion in GB. It seems like the timing in August won't work for everyone, especially those in the South US like Rick. Regrets...
