Great website Aaron! Been fun reading "mates" profiles! Edith I could use some professional help in the hair area! The chlorine has done a number there! Maybe for the reunion we could do some of what Connie was doing in her pic... mud wrestling??? :)

Seeing the flag pole in front of the high school reminds me of when some poor kid got taped/tied to it. Does anyone remember that??

Post your pictures people. It's been 20 years.....I see lots of names that I recognize but can't put a face with them.

I don't know who reads these, but I just wanted to throw my perspective out there with regard to kids attending the reunion.

I am getting from the survey (which by the way should be mandatory on this site so you can get an accurate head count) that whether or not kids should be allowed is under consideration.

I understand that it is either not an option for some attendees or they would like to bring their children along. We are not bringing our kids, though they are finding my yearbook from 1987 very amusing and would probably like to come along. :-)

I think the events planned for Friday; bowling, bbq-picnic, or whatever informal activity is eventually planned kids should be welcome to attend for those that want to bring them. I feel that the dinner/social planned for Saturday should be a kid free affair though. I think for many (most) of us we are going to be visiting with and catching up with friends we haven't seen in years, I for one don't want to be worrying about what my kids are doing while this is going on. After 17 years of marriage my wife and I have also learned to appreciate the sanctity of an evening without the young uns. :-) With that said I am REALLY looking forward to seeing you all in June.

Just my thoughts. What say you?

So far this plan of not having kids at the evening social became recently solidified.

At 12 noon on Saturday the 13th there will be a social function for the families and their children at Evers Park.

Additionally the bowling event on Friday night is family sensitive as well. So this is the latest updates. I will keep you posted.

So I guess I'm the only one that doesn't know why the high school was condemned?! Will someone please update me on what happened. I moved out before my senior year and have no idea. Thanks for keeping me in the loop!! =)

I'm flying into SLC on Saturday the 13th, renting a car for the drive to GR, and returning to SLC on the 14th. Is anyone interested in carpooling?

You arent the only one that isn't in the loop about the old GRHS building! Condemned?? Wow!

I moved the summer of 87 and finished out my junior and senior year in California. Its been 22 years since I've been back to Green River. I'm excited for the reunion!

Does Arctic Circle still have Lime Rickeys and that killer fry sauce??
