Any ideas or suggestions on where to have our class reunion?

I work at a bar in Maumelle I can get it arranged there instead of the supper club. I will just need to know a little in advance, I can also arrange for Karaoke, or whatever we want to do. Just let me know

Not a bad idea Heather. Good times at Tons...LOL. Do you think everyone would be in there element? I know we would and at least several others!

Well, I don't know about a bar, If i remember correctly, there's a few people that may not be comfortable in that setting. I don't know what kind of budget ya'll are planning on but my boss has just built a new event center in front of Centennial Valley Country Club. It's a really nice banquet hall and I could talk to the country club manager and see what he could do for us.

Call me crazy, but I think we should have it at the high school in the gym or cafeteria. I think it would be fun to kind of go back and reminisce. But if no one else likes that idea, I'm up for going anywhere. If there's any way that I can help, let me know.

I like that idea too, either way would be fine with me. The high school is definitely a place we haven't been in awhile and a common ground for everyone.

Matt's class reunion was back in May and Heather (Thessing) Rowlett arranged it at the Hilton Garden Inn. She hired a DJ, had food and the hotel has a bar. The room itself wasn't huge, but the lobby/lounge area extended off the room made it work. It was nice too. We paid $35/person. Not necessarily a hotel, but something like Diane mentioned or the Agora Building would probably be the best scenerio. Everyone can find their own comfort zone. As much fun as karaoke in a laid back setting is, it's going to be way out of a lot of people's comfort zone. But Heather (H) W....it is good times! ;)

I like either idea. Were ya'll going to try and incorporate children?
If we did it at the hilton and someone wanted something at the bar then there would be that option. Were ya'll going to have a meal? I definately like the DJ idea and karaoke, that would be a blast!

I think an event center would be best, if its an adults only thing. Dj and karaoke would be lots of fun. I work as a event planner/designer so if we need good rates on any thing just let me know. As for the Agora its high and they don't let anyone "do there own thing" they cater, decorate and such themselves, which is expensive. One of the best places for a budget and "freedom", i hate to say it, is the old gin. I'm pretty well on board for whatever.

Old Gin is actually really nice. And if we're wanting to be nostalgic, that is where we had our senior prom, isn't it?
