BROWN, Debby Boerema Brown, 58, of Duluth, GA, formerly of Greensboro, NC, died July 3, 2010. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 6th at 10:30 a.m. at Perimeter Church, Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends Monday, July 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross. Debby was a "fellow heir with Christ" (Rom 8:17), member of Perimeter Church, and of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Preceded in death by her father, John Calvin Boerema, she is survived by her mother, Frances Boerema of Greensboro, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Marianne Brown of Statesboro, GA; brother and sister-in-law, John and Pam Boerema of Stoneville, NC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Lee Paige and Nancy and John Cauble, both of Greensboro, NC; several nieces and nephews. I first met Debby when she moved to Greensboro from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She and her family started going to the same church I did (Westover/Independent Presbyterian Church). She was such a sweet and kind person. I was saddened to hear of her passing.
