Judy is one of the people with whom I went to school thru General Greene, Kiser and GHS.
Judy and I were able to reconnect after many years when I went to be music director at Oak Ridge UMC, her church.  After the first worship service, this lady walked up to me and said "Do you know who I am?"   Of course I did......she never changed!  We had more fun times together for the next nine years as she played in the Handbell Choir   Always a smiling face and the encourager   I'll miss her very much

Judy and I became friends in 10th grade at Grimsley and remained close friends ever since. For many years we had dinner together once a month until the pandemic kept us apart. I am sure we drove waiters crazy at every restaurant because our dinners always lasted at least two hours. We never ran out of things to say. She was so brave in her final illness when she knew the end was near. I will miss her so much.

Judy and I met each other and grew up in church (First Congregational Christian) where we sang in the choir and disrupted youth group meetings with our chatter.  We were church friends and school friends. Not only that, but her sister Brenda and my sister Lee were friends. And if that wasn't enough, our parents were friends.  Our friendship went in cycles. I was in her (Leonard) wedding, and we got together frequently at ECU. We renewed our friendship when my mother was ill, and then again at the 45th reunion.  We sat and visited at the 50th reunion like we hadn't been away from each other.  I will miss her big blue eyes and her giggle.  She was a wonderful friend.
