Charlotte Reynolds (Downs)

I called her Shae which I think was her AKA name. She was my dearest friend whom I kept in touch with all of our adult lives.  I can remember we had to pay her stepfather .10 per mile when we drove the car. I would calculate how far we could drive on the money we had and then we would have someone pick us up and go to the Boar and Castle. She told me later she knew I would be an accountant because I was hers when we were teens. I hired her to work for me as a receptionist when she decided to quit the dental profession. Shae excelled in everything she touched. She was an avid artist and could paint anything. She had the greatest funniest family and she was a character herself. When she had to have a portion of her brain removed from cancer, she commented that she had more brains than we thought because they had taken some of hers and she was still smart!. She loved her brother Tony and her husband Ken with all her heart and although she never had children of her own she was like an aunt to my children. We still tell stories of times at her house and all the fun we had. She didn't actually get to graduate with us in the 69 class but she was always considered a Whirly!! Love me some Shae Hollingsworth Jones.
