GREENSBORO — Clifford Hall Lauten, 60, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012,

A 2 p.m. graveside service will be held Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston Salem, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 10 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Forbis and Dick Funeral Service, 1118 N. Elm Street in Greensboro.

Mr. Lauten was born May 18, 1951 in Winston Salem, NC to the late Thomas Ziglar Lauten and Alice Hall Lauten. He spent his career with Johnson Controls as an HVAC repairman in charge of maintaining the Rockingham County Schools HVAC systems.

He also served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Fjeld.

He is survived by his niece, Annah Fjeld Parker, as well as his nephew, Brian Seth Fjeld.
