After GHS, I went to Clemson and continued as a student trainer. After graduation, a job was open at Grimsley and I was in the right place at the right time and was there for 30 years. I directed Sports Medicine from 1983-1997, was an assistant football coach (OL, WR, RB) from 97-02, coached men's golf since 97 (03 state runner-up) and women's golf since 2003. I have worked with the North Carolina Coaches Assoc. since 1987. Currently, my wife is the new President of Averett University in Danville and I have been a member of Clemson's IPTAY Board of Directors. I retired form GHS after 30 years in June of 2013
