Anne Hunt Reynolds

I married Mark in 1995 and Claire was born in 1997. I had been teaching at Sternberger (and I remember some of you from elementary school there too). I stopped teaching when Claire was born to be a full time mom. In 2000 Adele was born and in 2002 we moved to Asheville, NC. We live on the north end of town which has not quite succumbed to the urban sprawl that the south end has. Sadly it seems to be coming our way though. I got back into teaching in 2003 and work at a large elementary school in the small town of Leicester. Leicester is to Asheville like Greensboro is to Summerfield. Life is good, it is very relaxing up here and I love having the Blue Ridge Parkway close by. Greensboro will probably always feel like my true home though. My daughters enjoy Hamilton Lakes Park as much as I did when we come for visits. Grimsley was a wonderful part of my life and I'm glad to have the memories.

There seem to be a lot of food memories. Krispy Kreme runs from Mr. Hill's Madrigal class. Pizza--Bill's Pizza pub on Battleground for lunch, Village Inn pizza after football games. Fifth period lunch and getting a cheeseburger, french fries and a soft drink from McDonalds for .99 cents. Cathy Herman and I driving every car our families had to the Exxon station to have the cute guy fill up the cars. Parties at Patty Magid's house (I don't think her parents ever knew!) I generally just remember fun!
