Reunion activities will coincide with the 2008 Grimsley/Page Football Game.  (Times still to be determined)

Friday, October 17, 2008: 

  • Grimsley / Page Golf Tournament (Optional) - See Details Below 
  • Mountain Bike Ride (Optional) - See Details Below
  • Grimsley / Page Football Game: 
    • 7:30 Kick-off at Jamison Stadium
  • Post-Game gathering:
    •  The Green Burro on 106 W. McGee St. (Downtown)

Saturday, October 18, 2008:     

  • Family Picnic / School tours (Optional) - Grimsley High School "Grove"
    • 11:00a.m.- 2:00p.m. - Stamey's Barbecue provided
  • Main Event - ADULTS ONLY- NewBridge Bank Park - Greensboro Grasshoppers Stadiu
    • 7:00PM - 11:00PM - Heavy Hors d'oeuvres as well as beer and wine included (limited supply).  Cash bar will also be available for your favorite cocktail.
    • Attire: Come as you are casual....no stuffy coats or fancy dresses needed.  Denim is permitted! Main event is outdoors.

  • Friday, October 17 - Third Annual Grimsley-Page Rivalry Golf Tournament:
    • If you are interested in playing, please round up three others from the class and register at www.pagegrimsleygolf.com. Sign up immediately as spaces tend to fill quickly.  If you prefer to be grouped with others from the class, please contact Eric Apple directly at 336-834-1968 and he will work with you to fill your foursome.
    • Registration: 8:30 am
      Shotgun Start:10:00 am
    • The Quest for The Cup: The top 75 scores from each school will be combined to determine the winner of the 2008 Cup.  The Cup will be presented during halftime of the Page/Grimsley football game later that night.
    • Scoring: Each player will play their own ball on each hole.  A player can score a maximum of Double Bogey on any hole.  NOTE:  In order to speed play, please pick up once you reach Double Bogey.
    • Cost: The cost for an individual player is $85.00.  This includes green fee, cart, driving range balls, lunch, gift bag, beverages and post tournament reception.  Pick your foursome or we can put you in a group.  Due to the overwhelming response to last year's tournament, entries will be handled on a first pay first in basis.  We cannot guarantee entries without payment.
  • Friday, October 17 - Mountain Biking at Bur-Mil Park Trails:
    • We will meet at 12:30 in the parking lot next to the Wildlife Education Center or in the roundabout parking lot at the end of the road.
    • The ride would be open for all levels from beginner to advanced.  Beginners could do the 2.2 mile (Big Loop) trail , the intermediate could add the .8 mile(Little loop)trail and the advanced could do the beginner loop and/or the intermediate loop and Owl's Roost out and back or any combination they choose.

    • Directions: Take 220 North out of Greensboro. Turn right on Owls Roost Road. Turn left at Bur-mil Club Road. Pass the driving range and par 3 golf course. The road makes a right turn in front of the clubhouse. Continue on this road until you see the Wildlife Education Center on the right.
