Kenneth was one of the most effortlessly funny people I have ever known. My earliest memories of him are in Mrs. Diggs's music class in the 8th grade at Aycock. He was a wonderful singer with a deep bass voice you wouldn't believe could come from someone so small. Kenneth was also a very sly, sneaky, but never malicious cut-up.He would probably be surprised to see comments from me here, after all, I didn't know him well. But Kenneth made an impression on me and I remember being very saddened at his passing. It's a tragedy when the world is deprived too soon of one whose main purpose in life seems to have been making other people laugh.
A sincere R.I.P.

Kenneth was a DEAR friend to all who knew him! I always thought he was destined to be the next "Million Dollar Stand-Up Comic"... He always made the class crack up with laughter and I still use one of his famous quotes even to this day... In Mrs. Hauser's English Class at Aycock, Kenneth was being called down by Mrs. Hauser for being a little too animated, making us all laugh so hard, that we were all declared very unruly LOL...
Mrs. Hauser - "Kenneth, please be quiet, or I'm gonna have to send you to see "Mr. Goolsby"...
Kenneth - "Mr. Whooooosssbee?"
Til this day, I use that when needed, when asking other people who they are talking about! Steve has even said it on ocassion on the radio... So funny...LOL
RIP Kenneth... what a pleasure to have known you! You made me laugh & smile in class daily!!!
