
From the Greensboro paper: "Miss Stella A. Watkins, of 815 N. English Street, died Saturday at N.C. Memorial Hospital. Miss Watkins was a native of Greensboro, an employee of E.R. Squibb Chemical Co., and a graduate of Page High School. Surviving are mother, Mrs. Sylvia Haith London of Lexington Park, Md.; father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Watkins of the home; brother, Airman 1st Class Bernard London, Zaragora AFB, Spain; sisters, Ms. Sharon A. Knight of Killeen, Texas and Ms. Lorraine Angelea Wadelington of Greensboro." She is buried in Piedmont Memorial Park. Natalie Reid stated that Stella died from Lupus.
