From the Greensboro newspaper: "SUMMERFIELD - Mr. Scott Tyron Swink, 46, of 4262 Hamburg Mill Road, died Thursday, October 19, 2006, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Scott Swink was born in Burlington, Vermont on February 14, 1960, to the late Ronald and Sandra Bowen Swink. He was a graduate of Guilford College and a disabled veteran of the U.S. Navy. Scott enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, camping, kayaking and canoeing and he loved his four dogs. He was an active scout leader with Pack 316 and former secretary of the Summerfield Wildlife Club. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Sylvia Phillips Swink and children, Amanda Faye Swink and Dylan Scott Swink, all of the home; and brothers, Dan Swink of Castlerock, Colorado, Robert Swink and Fred Swink, both of Greensboro."
