05/28/08 06:51 PM #4     Derrick L. Davis Class of 1988, let me start by saying how sad it is to find out that we have lost 3 of our classmates. A couple of weeks ago I decided to look through our senior yearbook and just took time to refelct about that part of my life. Back then many of us thought those friendships/relationships would last forever, but time, distance, careers and families have allowed us to distance ourselves from the friends that helped mold, shape and support us through that exciting yet challenging part of life. Looking at the yearbook, made me realize how important my classmates were and how bonds that were so strong have faded over the years, so lets try to contact as many of class of 1988 as possible for this special day. By looking at the pictures from the profiles, I am glad to know that I am not the only male to have war declared on my hair folicles. Look forward to seeing each of you.

08/01/08 10:30 PM #10     Amy Vincent (Phillips) Shouldn't we just be celebrating our ten year reunion? I don't know about all of you but I feel I should still be in my twenties at least, but much wiser. I didn't get to attend our ten year reunion even though I was back in Greensboro at the time visiting. This was due to my father who was in hospice at Moses Cone Hospital. I received a voicemail at my parents home around 9pm the night of the reunion asking me to please come and join the festivities regardless if I had purchased a "ticket" or not. I don't recall who called but you said you all just wanted me to be there and that meant more than you'll ever know to me. I missed that one, but Lord willing I plan on attending the big "20". I can't wait to see all of you.

08/19/08 03:40 PM #11     Kelly Whitfield (Grissett) I want to thank Walter Hines Page for the BEST 3 years of my life. We entered as Sophmores, ready for the world, no fear, friends with Everyone (smile). I wish I could recapture the good, bad & ugly life lessons taught by Page and give them to my children to see how FUN High School use to be. Not worried about AIDS, Gangs, Teen Pregnancy, Excessive back talking to teachers (most of them were our friends that we hung out with in the smoking area talking), being extra loud with friends at Friday Night Football Games, and being proud to be a PAGE PIRATE!

Thanks to all of you on the committee that spent so much time putting this all together. I know it was hard work but I hope you all will be willing to organize another event in 5 years.
