Samantha was my cousin and passed away in January 2002. She was a wonderful friend, cousin, sister, and daughter. She was also a wonderful mother to Stuart. She is missed by many.
I think about Samantha so often. We were a kindred spirit as we shared the same birthday and had so much fun together in high school. I loved meeting her precious son, Stuart and hope that he knows how wonderful his mother was.
Samantha and I became better friends when we went to college together at Greensboro College. We had many fun times, many serious times, and grew very close. She was a lot of fun, a great friend, and had a very gentle side about her. She had such a fun spirit, and I have missed and thought of her often. My mother called me the day she was receiving orders for flowers, and I was so saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers go to all her family and friends, as we remember her on the memory page. Tara Michaels Ocello
Samantha and I used to play together when we were little kids, as we lived in the same apartment complex. I didn't know her tremendously well in High School, but we did have a class or two together, and I remember that she was a ton of fun. I was sad to hear of her passing and especially that she had a young son. I am sure she is missed by many.
Samantha and I were in numerous classes together. She also worked briefly and filled in at Kinard Drugs, where I worked all through high school. She was ALWAYS fun and FULL of energy. She was one in a million.
I remember SO many times getting called out in class because we weren't paying a bit of attention and were busy writing notes and giggling. Good times!!!
After getting married and moving away, I lost touch with her. I found out about her passing when my daughter was in preschool. I just sat in my car dumbfounded. Samantha had always been SO full of life and I couldn't imagine that I would never again see her BEAUTIFUL, SMILING face. Her passing was and is a tremendous loss to her family and her friends, to anyone who had the chance to know that "wild and crazy chick."
My condolences still go out to her family and especially her son, Stuart. I will certainly never forget her. I was lucky to have been able to call her my friend.
Samantha and I grew up together. She lived behind me and we spent a lot of time together. We lost touch when she moved away, but we got to know each other again in high school. I miss her and was very sad when I heard the news.
samantha and i were in several classes together and she always made me smile! i always wanted to be around her because she stuck up for her friends. she had a huge heart and i wish her much love in the heavens above. she is missed by many!
Samantha moved in across the street from me when we were 10 yrs old. We became good friends and lived at each other's houses for weeks at a time. I had so much fun with her and her family and I love her mom still to this day!! We grew apart as we got older and did not keep in touch. I was very sad to learn of her passing. I think of her often and smile.
I'm so sad to hear about Samantha...I've been away so long I've lost touch with many people..but I remember her being so sweet. I really just so sad for her child and family, i'll always remember her.
