Annual Observance for 2024!

As we've done in the past few years, let's gather again at Oden Brewery exactly 47 years after our graduation ceremony on June 8, 1977.

On June 8, 2024, please make plans for a casual meet-up at 1pm at the picnic tables under the shade trees or inside near the AC (air conditioning, not A/C intersection!).

You can bring your own food or get some from the trucks on site. 

Let us know if you can make it and please share this event with other classmates. We are still hoping to reach 100% of our class and welcome updates you might have.

Sadly, we know of 60+ classmates who have passed away too soon but it is important information to share. We have tried to attach obituary links with each deceased classmate and could use help in the ones we were unable to find and post.

It's time for the Annual Observance of our June 8, 1977 Graduation!

Last year a group of '77 pirates met on June 8th and we want to make it an annual casual gathering at Oden's.

This year June 8th falls on a Thursday and there will be live music to enjoy while we sit outside at the picnic tables and rocking chairs or chill with classmates at the cool tables inside. They serve soda, wine and beer along with rotating on-site food truck fare.

Please drop in to say "Aye, Mateys!" from 5-8pm, Thursday, June 8th at Oden's Brewing Company located at  804 W. Gate City Blvd (aka Lee Street) near UNC-G. Plenty of parking in back.
