We had a wonderful meeting today! Debbie Carter Hamilton and Marie Terrell were able to join us and add additional help and ideas to our committee! Thanks y’all, we appreciate it so much!

We understand that we did a poll, asking classmates for their wishes for the catering desires for our upcoming reunion and it was overwhelmingly voted to have food provided. However, through much discussion and research, we have decided it would be best for each person or couple to bring their own picnic meal. This could be something that you prepare or pick-up to enjoy at the park shelter. This was decided due to limited help, cost and availability from area restaurants.

The plans as of now are as follows:

Friday night, October 21st. Attend the Page/Grimsley game! GO PIRATES!??

Saturday, October 22nd, Bur-Mil Park, shelter #1, 2 to 7pm - come with your personal meal ??. During this time we will all visit, have fun, golfing available, corn hole, feel free to bring any outside games or activities you wish to share. Picnic tables are available but feel free to bring a lawn chair or your favorite seating.

Saturday evening, October 22nd, 8pm - until. The party will continue at La Place Internacional! Located at 2618 Lawndale Drive. Marie is offering this and more details to follow ??

Our plan is for this event to be Free and no ticket needed to attend. Each person can provide their own food and drinks. A limited supply of drinks will be provided. At La Place, planning is in the process, more details later.

We will give more details as needed. We just wanted to update the plans as of now.

Our desire is for all classmates to be able to attend. This is your invitation! If you know of any classmates that do not use Facebook, do not check their emails or we may not have their contact information, PLEASE reach out to them and extend an invitation ??

We are excited and looking forward to our 45th class reunion!!!

Get ready and mark your calendars for October 22, 2022 to celebrate our 45th Class Reunion!

We will gather in the afternoon at a BurMill Park outdoor shelter to reminisce with classmates.

Stay tuned for updates and more details....

The following announcement was posted on our class' facebook page by Penny Rhodes Jones.

Hello Pirates,

We have secured a shelter at BurMil Park on Saturday, October 22nd for our 45th class reunion! This shelter will accommodate 150 people but also has another shelter next to it that also accommodates 150. So we have the potential for up to 300 guests.

We went with this option in order to keep the reunion affordable for everyone. We will be checking on catering. Once the catering is decided we will put a price on the tickets.

The shelter does allow beer and wine in non-glass containers.

This will be an afternoon event. We have the shelter for the day but must be out by 7:30.

We hope everyone will try to make it! We look forward to seeing everyone! Please notify any of our classmates that do not use Facebook so we can start getting some numbers together.
