Hi Marie, John passed in Arizona. Yes, great team with great players, I posted a couple of Little League photos on this site; see if you recognize anyone..... Take Care
John had been in a long care nursing facility when he passed.
Just to share a little story about John; John was playing little league baseball for the Akron Hot Stove League, which my cousin operated. When John moved to Green with his family my cousin told my father and said get him for your team, he is a great pitcher and all around player. He sure was right about that! I was never a very good player, but I do remember the first time I batted agains John. He threw from the wrong side { Ha, left handed } and had a lot of motion with ball speed, and boy he was acurrate.
I loaded some old little league photos to this sight, one is taken at the ball field and John is in the back row third from the right. Maybe you can recognize some of the other players as well.
RIP John
Sorry Kevin, may peace be with you and your family.
Tom was a good friend during high school and was a very funny guy. We all nicknamed him "Hunky" and he always thought that was hilarious. Although we lost touch over the years, I have many good memories of my friend Tom, may he rest in peace.
