Harold O'Bannon Holiman, 72, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 in Quitman, Mississippi. 

Holiman was born in Greenville, MS to Frank H. "Slim" Holiman and Elizabeth "Betty Jane" O'Bannon Holiman. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Vaughan Holiman, daughter, Andrea Holiman Gaskins, grandchildren, Jane (Keith) Meigs, Melissa Gaskins, Wilson Holiman Gaskins and great-grandson, Bennett Meigs, all of Huntsville, Alabama. Brother, Frank Eugene "Gene" (Kathleen) Holiman; two nephews, John Patrick and William Frank (Jenny) Holiman; one grand niece, all of Austin, Texas. Those very dear to Holiman include cats, Buddy and Samatha. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013, 2:00 pm at the McGowan's Chapel Methodist Church in the Harmony Community in Clarke County, MS. Rev. Bryan Carrubba will be presiding. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at McGowan's Chapel Methodist Church. Burial will take place in the McGowan's Chapel Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home in Quitman is in charge of the arrangements.
