Max Orr

I went to work for General Motors in 1964 after graduating from Mississippi State University. I did graduate work in Engineering at Purdue University and received an MS from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1990. My career progressed from Foreman, General Forman, Superintendent, Director of Manufacturing Engineering, Director of Operations, Director of Facilities and Services to Plant Manager. Our operation was purchased by Rolls-Royce Aerospace in 1994. I retired from General Motors and Rolls-Royce in 2000. After working as a consultant for five years, I joined my brothers company in New Orleans as a VP and work as the CFO. We own and operate barges on the Inland River System as well as manage barges fleets for foreign and domestic companies.
