Donna is a licensed massage therapist. She does it more for the satisfaction of helping her clients who are in pain than she does for the money. Of course the money is nice.

I purchased Crosby & Edwards Cotton Co. in 1975 and ran it until 1995 when I sold out to a cotton factor in Inverness, Ms. Prior to 1975 I worked in the banking industry in Jackson, Ms. In 1995 Donna & I moved to Maryville, TN (just outside of Knoxville) to be near the mountains but not to far from home. I got into real estate and then became an appraiser (a three year process).

Going back as far as E E Bass, between John Keating, Dee Walcott, Lee Bell Hammond, Bob McMurry, Harley Metcalfe, Dan Lindsay, Shelby Edwards, Ben Hand (our class), and then the class of 1965, Nolan Branton, Lamar Satchfield, Bill Bell, Bill McHenry, there's just too many stories to talk about. I think Dee Walcott & Ben Hand got me in (and kept me in) the most trouble with my parents, but it was a fun time and I'll always cherish the memories. Truth is I'm damn lucky to be alive.
