Susan wrote, "You can't judge a book by it's cover."
True enough! Better yet, though, certain political persuasions' efforts to the contrary notwitstanding, you can't book a judge by his cover."

Does anyone know Billy Simpson's address? I just learned his mother has passed away and want to send a card. I know how hard it is to loose your mother. Mine has only been gone 7 weeks but the pain is still raw. Thanks.

Billy,
I am just catching up on reading all the posts and saw that your mother passed away. I am so sorry for your loss.

I lost my mom two weeks after our 10 year reunion. She actually got sick the weekend of the reunion and passed away 2 weeks later. I still miss her and it has been 30 years this June....

Danny I think he graduaded right before the koren war.I used to keep the studio loaded with drums amps keyboards. but every one that came in to record wanted to use their stuff, you know i dont like those drums or im not use to that amp, gripe fuss and more fussing so i took it all out.i dont have to beg anyone to use a 3500.00 worth of ludwig drums they bring their own set of CB100's in if that satisfies them lol. i furnish mics
for mikeing the crappy drums and i furnish singing mikes.i found out long ago that a musician knows a hell of a lot more than me and i don't fight with them. in the long run they see what goes to the machine you put it there and you cant polish a t--d.the smart ones request what they want and i will supply it. Now Danny what can I supply you with?lol You do know they pay by the hour and let them take all the time they want moveing amps and drums ha ha I will be glad to show you the studio and let you sing honkey tonk if you like!!!!!! Kenny
ps i have been recording his data for a number of years now.He sings one just for me" I think im trying to kill Kenny"He will order 2000 cd,s after I do all the art work for him,and then he gives them away.I wonder why?

I just heard that Hugh Lee's mother passed away this morning; thought everyone would want to know. Don't know any details on visitation or funeral arrangements.

Hugh and Billy: I know what you are going through. I am so sorry. Please know that you are both in my prayers. Death is such an unexpected time for everyone. Both of my parents and my only sister are gone now. It makes me so thankful for my friends and my faith.
Frank: We prayed for you and Rayner at our precious small church today. On a good day we have thirteen "at the rail" as we say in the Episcopal church.
Love, hugs and kisses to all my classmates and may God grant you safe passage to Greenville.

To Billy and Hugh,
I am sorry for your loss of your mother. I am so fortunate to still have my mother who is 92 and doing very well. My father lived to the age of 91. Hugh, I just want to say what a wonderful lady your mother was. I really got to know her when she lived in the Crown. Frank, I am praying for you . I know you are in Philadelphia now waiting on your next treatment.

To all our servicemen, past and present; Thanks for all you did and do for our freedom. Freedom isn't free. It comes with a heavy price, and I personally want to thank you for all you do and did to make our country the best there is. Happy Memorial Day, Ladies and Gentlemen.

With sincere appreciation,
Mike

Mike,

You're welcome. A booklet of puzzles will be available to all the weekend of the reunion. You and a dozen other hard core puzzle heads are the test audience!

Anybody,

In connection with the puzzle project, I was pondering the page of one Hershel Paul Williams, whom I do not remember. Did he go by Hershel or Paul?

05/25/09 10:04 AM #1719

Peggy Lynn Gresham (Fisher)

Victor,
I think he went by Paul Williams, unless we had another Paul Williams in our class. I definitely had classes with Paul Williams.

Hugh,
So sorry to hear about your mom. I remember her well. Such a sweet person. My prayers are with you and your family..

Frank and Rayner..Thinking about you, love ya both, LOTS.

To all the men and women who have served this amazing country in the past, and those who are presently serving, THANK YOU for your service and for the sacrifices you have made for this country, and for all of us who enjoy it's freedoms.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL!!!!

Memorial Day actully started in the South during the Civil War, when the wifes started decorating the graves of their fallen love ones. It had come to be known as Decoration Day and has sincce been changed to Memorial Day to honor those that died serving our country.

A bit of history
