Just for the record, it should be "Nathan Earl Dosher." Goodbye, old friend. I found out too late you were searching for your old buddies. Great friend and better memories. Including your beater of a Ford pickup with the "3 on the tree" column transmission.
Nate was a friend of mine all through school.played alot of 4 square together,we even played baseball together . the speedcops which had a lot of other friends on that team.Goodbye my friend I will truely miss you ! Kenny Ware
I can not remember much of my childhood without thoughts of Nate. He was my friend from the very beginning. One of my greatest regrets is neglecting our friendship after high school. I always intended to regain contact with him; now, it's too late. Yeah, the Speed Cops (and before that, Standard Oil - with Bubba Buehler, among others), his mom's old Studebaker, his grandpa's 53(?) Ford, their "country" house that was built when Greenville was mostly fields, his amazing maturity, his graceful character, and his enduring smile all will forever hover in my memory. We miss ya, Nate.
I am very proud to say Nate was a friend and a very honest person. I just found out today and was devastated and feel a deep void in my heart. He will deeply be missed. Wish I knew what happened to Nate, but, only very proud to say he was my friend. The world was a much better place because of him. Rick Caldwell say
Nate, Kenny McNeill, and I all loved baseball, and played on the Weather's Farms Team together when we were 9 and 10. Then we moved on to high school together. Nate was a good friend and ol' buddy, I will truly miss you.
Nate and I became close friends during our senior year. We spent many an hour in his or my aluminum boat catching crappie bream and catfish in every delta lake. Nate I'll never forget your luck with the chewing tobacco you spat on your hooks. Will always love you man God take care of you till we fish again.
I remember one time we were playing WWII around his house and Nate came tearing around the corner screaming like a banshee and chasing my butt. Then he ran head-on into a clothesline and almost guillotined himself. Went down in a heap like he was shot with a deer rifle. We (I think Don Holt and I) laughed so hard we collapsed on the ground. And Nate was laughing harder than either of us. That's the sweetness of soul that good ol' boy had.
Several people called me "Scoo" (keith Luke) and Nate was one of those guys. This man was the essence of a peaceful soul, good ole boy mentality and truely a kind person. I simply cannot believe he is gone. Nate what did you do with my 410 shotgun? :) Sure would like to talk with you one more time.
