Keith died of a heart attack in his barber shop in shirley arkansas.keith cut my hair in the summer of 1969 and charged me $20.00 because my hair was down past my sholders at the time. I told him a little off the top and cut the dead ends, and he did I came out looking like a marine . rest my friend, for one day i will see you again. Kenny Ware
Keith, when I think of you I think of fast cars and fun. Also you cut my little Adam's hair for the very first time and I have a great picture of that happy event. You are missed.
Keith and his folks lived not far from our house. His dad seemed like a very pleasant man. Of course, Keith followed him into the hair cutting buiness and they both cut my hair for some years. Keith called me "Scoo". Who could ever forget his laugh. I wish that I could have seen him "just one more day".
So many memories with Keith. Like my wife Patsy said, Keith liked fast cars. Keith and I were in DECA together. I was the President of or HS chapter and at the end of our Junior year we had our statewide DECA convention in Jackson. We had planned to travel together and we were going to stay at Keith's sisters house that night. For some reason we got off to a late start and when we got to Vicksburg it was already past 1 a.m. Keith was driving his 350 Chevy Camero and we drove from Vicksburg to Jackson in 22 minutes. Thank goodness we were not pulled over. We made it to the convention and on a whim Keith decided to run for State President of DECA. He won! My friend, I do miss you. Thanks for this and the many more memories and events we shared together.

Sorry that I won't have the opportunity to see you again. I remember that you loved the song "Can't Get No Satisfaction." Rest in peace.Patsy Ann Chavis (Davidson)
