GREENVILLE - Walter Baskin Reynolds, 64, of Greenville died of a heart attack Jan. 27, 2008. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mortimer funeral Home, Greenville, has charge.
That's about all I could find as far as an obituary for Walter.
You all knew the Reynolds & the Baskins of Greenville. There's a little story how Walter's name was introduced to his uncle Walter Baskin. It's in a book Walter's father, Thomas Pickett Reynolds, wrote to presrve the memory of his friend & brother-in-law, Walter Baskin, who was a WWII pilot who did not return after the war. It's a biographical memoir of Lt. Walter Malone Baskin which is now a part of the Library of Congress. It's a collection of letters he sent home and his daily diary entries. I'm sure you'll enjoy them as much as I did.
