Royal Branton, age 63, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008, at his home in Biloxi, MS, following a battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne West Shelton, and his father Royal L. Branton, Sr.
He is survived by daughter, Nancy Branton and partner, Suzi Altman; daughter Holly Horncastle and husband, Court; one grandson, Walker King; brother, Nolan Branton and wife, Linda; stepfather, Walter Shelton; numerous nieces and nephews, and his dear friend, Patricia Wilson.
Royal was born in Greenville, MS. He was a graduate of Columbia Military Academy and Mississippi State University. Royal was an LPC with Applied Psychology on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Memorial services for Royal will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 11, 2008 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Brandon, MS.
Honorary pallbearers will be West Branton, Buzz Sease, John Sease, Wes Hall, Patrick Hall, Shelby Edwards, Hall Edwards, Stuart Milam, and Roy Way.
