Mac Payne lived twohouses from me, and he always got a new bike each year, but would not let anyone ride or even touch it. His speech impedement with a stutter made it difficultet to understand what he was saying.
He would come to our door often and ask to speak to my father, Jack Estes. which he could not pronounce very well. My mother would stand at the door and loudly shout. "J,J,Jack ASS-stes, Mac is here to see you." and she enjoyed doing that immensely!
