It is hard to believe that 30 years has past since graduation. I have not had taken the opportunity to keep up with old classmates like I would have liked. I just discoved the website tonight, while having a slow night at work.
I have been working as an RN for the past 3 years at the Salem, VA Medical Center in Salem, Va. I guess the biggest news I would like to share as after all these years as a confirmed bachlor, the Lord allowed me to meet a wonderful wife. We met on eharmony.com. She too is an RN at the VA.
It is sort of amazing that we are both RN's. Our home towns were 30 minutes apart in central Pa.
We live in Blue Ridge,Va., and if anyone is ever looking to relocate to God's country, Virginia should be one of the places to consider.
We have 7 dogs, 2 cats, 3 sugargliders, and 1 yellownape amazon. Many people have told us we should get rid of the fur kids and have some 2 legged ones. At our ages though unless the Lord intervines we are not interested in being a modern day Abraham and Sara.
I have really enjoyed reading about many of you and am hoping that we might work it out to come to the reunion. Our second anniversy is June 2nd and I would like to make the trip down there to start it off.
Would like to hear from some of you if and when you have time, but I have noticed many of you have been mutiplying like rats:) which my hat goes off to each and everyone of you.
