Janice Hayes Towers

I married in 1961. Eddie was Minister of Music and Youth at North Baptist Church in Greenville. He moved to Washington Street Baptist Church as Minister of Education/Music/Youth while attending Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth. Moved to Port Arthur in 1965 and then to Fort Worth for a few months. In 1967 moved to Jacksonville, FL. After serving 3 years at a church there, my husband was called as pastor of Ocean Park Baptist Church at the beach where he just retired after 39 years of service. I retired after 30 years as the church secretary. We have adjusted to retirement and are enjoying it.

I played the piano in churches for over 50 years and still enjoy it. I also enjoy working in my yard and flowerbeds. (I have finally reached a point in my life where I don't kill everything overnight!)

My sister, Brenda, her husband, Bud, and their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren.

My mother lives at Briarcliff. She is 92 and doing fairly well for her age. I am able to visit with her several times during the year.
