Joe Kilgore

After graduating from the University of Louisville in 1984, I've been in the transportation industry ever since. I've been at my current job (Dart Transit) since 1994 where I'm the operations manager. I played baseball at U of L while majoring in Sports Administration. I've been married to my wife Lisa for 21 years and we have a 15 year old daughter, Darryian. Other than playing a lot of golf, I'm reliving my high school days by playing the drums in Rock Band while my daughter plays the guitar on Xbox 360. Playing the drums is NOT like riding a bike!

Some of my fondest memories of high school were the Friday night football games. It didn't matter if it was a home or away game. The Friday morning pep rallies, the open campus for lunch. Things have sure changed at today's high schools! I remember how weird the cheer "Senior 80" sounded at the pep rallies considering "Senior 79" or "Senior 78" had a better rhythm. I wouldn't change a thing though. The Sonic drive-ins today just don't have the same appeal as the one on Wesley.
