Where has the time gone? I've lived in Commerce, where I went to college after high school, and then got married a couple of years later, moved to Rockwall, and then back to Commerce, where I finished my Bachelor's in 1994 and then got my Master's in 2006 in Health & Human Performance. My husband of 36 years and I divorced in 2019, but remained great friends until his death in 2023.
I’ve worked at the same company for 27 years, but looking forward to retirement soon. I bought a house right by the Dallas Arboretum, bought a kayak that I keep at White Rock Lake, and love my life here. I have some AMAZING friends!

Football games, both at home and away, traveling on the bus in our hair rollers! Practicing for floor show was a blast every year. Oh, and "cruising" Wesley street with Donna Jeter, up and down and up and down the street we'd go. Do the kids today still do that?

Hardly ever. However, I have cousins that live in Greenville, and my daughter lives in Commerce. My Dad now lives in Duncanville.

I went to ETSU on a music scholarship, majoring in music education. It didn't take me long to figure out that I wasn't cut out to be a teacher, and didn't have the motivation to be a performance major. I changed my major to Home Ec, but didn't like that either. I met my husband at ET, and we both quit college (mistake), got married, and our first child came along a little over a year later. We had our 2nd soon thereafter. Steve went back to college and finished his Bachelor's and got his Master's in the late 80's, and then I went back and got both my B.S. and M.S. degrees.

I'd really love to live overseas. I've loved visiting Italy, and think it would be a blast to live there. Maybe one of these days....

Movies, walking and kayaking at White Rock Lake, frequent visits to the Arboretum, hanging out with fabulous family and friends!
