6 days after graduation, I shipped off to Boot Camp at MCRD at San Diego, California. From there I went to Camp Pendleton, California. While in the U. S. Marine Corps. I spent 1/2 my tour stationed with 1st Battalion, 5th Marines at Camp Margarita, Camp Pendleton, California. and the other 1/2 attached to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines at Camp Hansen on the Island of Okinawa, Japan. After my tour was over, I returned to Greenville until 1987, when I moved to Mena, Arkansas.

I was on a plane headed to U. S. Marine Corps Boot Camp at MCRD San Diego, CA.

I've always wanted to go on walkabout deep into the Australian Outback, or to Tanganyika or Namibia, Africa and see the country and the animals living in the wild I only get to see in the movies and zoos.

I like Gunsmithing, Modern and Antique guns, and Damaged Gun Restoration. I can take a rifle or shotgun that looks like a hunk of trash and turn it into a showpiece. I am an avid gun owner and a member of the National Rifle Association and Glock Sport Shooting Foundation. I am into and love Sport and Competition Shooting. I own many different calibers of rifles, shotguns and handguns.

Not long after moving to Arkansas, I got into Law Enforcement with the Sheriff's Office of Polk County Arkansas. I have also been a Police Officer for the City of Grannis, Arkansas, and Constable for Cedar Township, Polk County, Arkansas.
