Hey Classmates:
Just a quick update.. I'll be brief. First of all thanks for all your prayers on behalf of my brother Kevin's son Brayden who has Hodgkins Lymphoma. They are at Children's starting Chemo therapy... He is going through three days of the stuff then they will be going home, back in five days for a single day of chemo, then off to finish a 21 day cycle... then they will do this again for up to six months...the doctors are VERY optimistic that they will have good success.
Since this is a forum for our class and the upcoming reunion I'll not be using our space on the board for further discussions about his daily situation, although I ask that you keep up the prayers. I'll be posting updates through my facebook page... meanwhile, thanks for all the work going into the reunion... I can't wait!

Jeff, I think I'll speak on behalf of everyone if I may, and say we all would love to hear how God is going to move through this young man. I saw it through my son, Josh. If there is anything we can do, post something. We all grew up together and especially us guy's that played baseball all those years and watching the younger brothers play as well. I would like to say we are all one big family.

Jeff,like Sandra & Ollie said [one big family] please keep us posted. The bigest thing wrong with the world is not enough people care about everybody else- alot of us do!! Our class was pretty close, let's keep it that way. My daughter & your nephew Blake are in the same class I think so we are all closer than we know. Just wanted to let everyone know I spoke with Celeste last night and her son Mathew was admitted to the hospital yesterday with strep throat and a staph infection on one of his legs. They are checking to make sure it has not gotten into his bones and hopefully he will only be in there a few days but she has asked for you all to pray for him also as he is very ill right now. He is only 4 and is not liking the situation at all as we can all imagine.

Jeff we are continuing our prayers and I agree with all the above comments from Bobby, Mike & Sandra.

On a lighter note. Bobby I got your message last night and am planning on being there. We lost my husbands Father on Sunday and they are having the funeral that day but unless something comes up I will be there.

THANKS FOR EVERYONE WHO WAS THINKING ABOUT MATTHEW. HE HAS STREP AND STAPH INFECTION IN HIS LEFT LEG. WE STAYED AT ST. EDWARD MERCY MEDICAL CENTER FOR FOUR DAYS AND NIGHTS. IT WAS AWFUL AS YOU CAN IMAGINE. BEWARE PARENTS!: IF YOU SEE SOME SORT OF "RASH" THAT RESEMBLE RED DOTS ONE DAY AND GO AWAY THE NEXT BUT ANOTHER BATCH APPEAR NEAR THE ONE THAT FADED AWAY AND SO ON AND SO ON, THEN ALL THE SUDDEN A FEVER HITS, BAM THAT'S WHAT MATTHEW GOT! THE DOCTORS TREATED HIM FOR MERSA AT FIRST. THANK YOU PAM FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND THE POST. YOU ARE A GREAT FRIEND.

I read in the obituaries today where Tony Mckenzie died (I'm sure most of yall remember him). I feel so sad for his parents because it was just a year and a half ago that Robin Mckenzie White died. Now his parents have lost both of their children. I don't know the exact cause of his death but I heard it was a heart attack.

Now for a update on the reunion, all the plans are coming together real nice. Everyone is really getting excited and looking forward to it. We still have about 30 people that have not been located so anyone with any information HELP please.

Margo Atkinson (Shibley) Phillip, I just put Charla Stracener's last known address that I could find on here but I couldn't find a phone number. She has remarried and living in Texas but I think that was probably 4 years or so ago. You want to look into it? Thanks! I'm still looking but haven't had much luck with any more findings!
