Biography

James Garfield McNabb, 59, of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away on June 19, 2024 at home. James was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Foster McNabb and Patricia Johnston on January 23, 1965. James was a 1983 graduate of Greenwood High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling with his beloved wife, Cheryl. He loved to hunt for arrowheads, collect Louis L’amour books and reading Stephen King & Dean Koontz and more recently, his Bible. He collected pens, hats, pocket knives and flashlights. He was an avid NASCAR fan. However, more than anything, he loved spending time with his family. He had a ginormous heart and was so compassionate towards others. Loyal and patriotic to his country. If you knew from the past, one of his biggest attributes was being patient. (LOL)
