This memorial was created in honor of Monica Elizabeth Heiss of Hugo,
Oklahoma. Monica was born on June 5, 1965 and passed on December
16, 2016 due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Monica
was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.
She leaves her father, Joseph Heiss is Arkansas, son, Ryan Coutee,
daughter in law Kayla and grand daughter Kaylee of Louisiana, brother
Mike Heiss and wife Jerlynn Heiss of Arkansas, nephews Jason & Brandon.
Raised for most of her life in Arkansas, daughter of Joseph Heiss and
Jeannie (Heiss) Falleur (deceased), Monica was always a joy to be
around and full of laughter. Monica's most enjoyable hobby was karaoke.
She could light up a room with her amazing voice and exceptional
selection of song. Her "forever 21" personality is the reason many people
will be able to look back on such great memories with her.
Woman dies from injuries received in Choctaw County wreck

HUGO, Okla. (KXII) -- One person was flown Tuesday night to a
Plano hospital after a two-vehicle wreck in Choctaw County. She
later died from her injuries.The accident happened just after 11 p.m.
on U.S. Highway 271, 6 miles south of Hugo.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said Monica Heiss, 51, of Hugo
suffered serious head injuries when she failed to yield at a stop
sign and pulled out in front of a pickup. Heiss died from her injuries
Friday morning at the hospital in Plano. The front of the truck struck
the driver's side door, causing both vehicles to run off the road.
The driver and passenger of the truck, Wayne Sample, 66,
of Boswell, Okla and Clint Pierce, 41, of Boswell, Okla., were
not injured.
