RALEIGH, N.C. - Craig McMahan, age 59, died peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Rex Hospital.
Craig was born in Anderson, SC, on July 7, 1953 to Lawt McMahan and Gwendolyn Loftis McMahan. He was employed by Central Regional Hospital in Butner.
Surviving are his wife, Mot; stepdaughters, Michelle Gaffney (Rod Stacy) of Raleigh, NC, and Angela Gaffney of Atlanta, GA; parents, Lawt and Gwen McMahan of Greenwood, SC; brothers, Blake McMahan (Yvette) and Russ McMahan (Judy), all of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Harris United Methodist Church, Greenwood at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2013.

I always remember Craig as being a really quiet guy. He never seemed to say a lot which now as I look back was a pretty admirable quality in a person. My prayers go out to his family.
