Trey Alexander

Left GTMO in 1983 (end of 9th grade), attended high school in my hometown (Lincolnton, NC), graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1990, served in the Navy in the early '90s before getting out. Moved back to Lincolnton and worked various jobs before joining Bank of America in 2003. Married Sherrie in 1997. We have dogs but no kids.
My brother, David (class of '88) lives in Kingsland, GA near our parents. They moved there right after my dad retired from GTMO in '84 (I stayed in NC to finish high school, living with my aunt and uncle). David joined the Marine Corps Reserves, then went to Georgia Southern University. He married Andrea in 2005, and they have two kids: Aislin (4 years old) and Landon (7 months).

During 9th grade, I worked part time at TV-8, and became a bit of a local celebrity. I was on TV most nights, reading the "Take Note" community announcements. I also did several news stories and even had my own 15-minute show called "Montage" (which only lasted for 5 shows).

I still have a near-complete collection of newspapers and TV schedules from the three years I lived in GTMO!
