Ellen Marie Cassidy (Bertoni) was one of the sweetest persons I have ever known in my life. She fought a courageos battle against cancer twice. She leaves behind a wonderful husband Gino and 15-year old son, Christopher. Ellen is a once-in-a-lifetime friend. Gone but never forgotten. There is a memorial planned in Jacksonville, FL this Saturday, March 13th at 1PM. Trish Gibowicz (1980)
I will always have fond and fun memories of my dear friend Ellen. In high school, we were an inseparable force, and we kept in touch for over 30 years. I was fortunate to have visited Ellen in Jacksonville this past November, only four months before her passing. She was as happy and kind as she always had been. What a brave girl. I miss her terribly, but her memory will live on in the joy she had for life and the legacy she has left us.Trish Gibowicz, Class of 80
