Died March 11, 1999. She was diagnosed with cancer in 1997, received a bone marrow transplant in December 1998, and later passed away due to complications. She is survived by her parents Jeffrey and Shiela LaCroix and her sisters Ashley Williams and Nikki Reynolds.
The bench is still there. It is in the office now with the brass placque in remembrance of Brianne. I do remember how she lived and how much fun she was to have in class. I, too, think of her often and especiallhy as I walk past her bench in the office of WT Sampson. I tell stories of her to kids that never had the priviledge of meeting her.
