Mrs. Bowlby was born in Key West, Fla., a daughter of the late Charles J. and 

Evelyn Nadine McClarin Pringle. Mrs. Bowlby was vice president of Mid Carolina 

Management Co. and vice president of Cash Credit Co. of St. Matthews. She 

loved animals and was an avid supporter of The Tri-County Humane Society.

Mrs. Bowlby was a Reserve officer with the St. Matthews Police Dept.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Raymond Bowlby of St. Matthews; a son, 

Austin Jeremy Hyte Hendrickson of Wichita Falls, Texas; a daughter, Christyna 

Jaydene Whisenhunt and husband Terry of St. Matthews; two grandchildren: 

Christian and Maddox Whisenhunt of St. Matthews and her paternal grandmother, 

Gertrude Katz of Orangeburg.
